Adamjee Industries Limited

AIL was one of the largest composite textile and paper producing companies of Pakistan. The Textile division comprised of 66,000 spindles, 1,350 looms, 1,200 open end rotors and a complete dying, bleaching, finishing and printing section. 

The Paper division comprised of fine paper & paper board plant alongwith, a subsidiary caustic soda & chlorine manufacturing unit. The company was dismantled and sold in 1981. The Textile division, which is located at Karachi, is now renamed as Al-Karam Textile Mills, managed by the "Al-Karam Group".
